This litter is bringing my old foundation bloodlines close and this is called a Line Breeding....what this means is that both sides of the pedigree will carry a similar relative...in this case it is my OLD GIRL CODY.....she was a very strong east/west/old German gal and incredibly healthy and stable....I am excited about this litter.....

Danni is solid BLACK and he is just precious....

Koda was born on my birthday in 2002!  This was a very exciting time for me as I was awaiting CODY and GIZMO'S kids, and....knowing that it was going to be CODY'S last litter of puppies.....I was hoping she would give me a GIRL to carry on her beautiful nature! 
Cody decided to have her puppies in Brandon's BED that year.....of course this was not really a good thing and even though I had EVERYTHING prepared for her, in her SPOT, she still decided that wasn't good enough :)  So she certainly surprised me with the pups on my birthday and also by having them UPSTAIRS and in one of the boy's beds!!  ha ha  That was CODY though....she had a personality that never quit.  She would do ANYTHING and I mean anything you were doing or that you asked her to do!!  Guess this time she insisted that I DO what she wanted :)

Anyways, she surprised me by having 2 boys and 2 girls and yes......there were 2 black puppies and 2 black & tan puppies.....a boy and a girl were black and tan and the other girl and boy were black :) So, after much thought, I was going to keep all 4 :)  Well...more thought was put into it and I thought maybe keeping JUST the girls would be a better idea :)  2 is a handful but 4 would be like a laundry basket :) Everyone knows how much TIME and ENERGY ONE puppy needs.....

So that was the beginning of Koda and Kodie's story.....Both girls have been incredible additions to our home!  Both girls have given us MUCH to be proud and happy about...CODY & GIZMO gave us a GIFT in both of these two shepherds!  We are certainly thankful!!

And sharing a puppy from KODA or KODIE is an HONOR for us as we know that you will be very happy and enjoy them for a long long time!
Of course, let us not FORGET about the boys and their part in all this.....GIZMO couldn't have been any better!  He has proven his bloodlines are strong and wonderful over and over again!  Jack is adding much more as well.  His personality is too funny and his baby like face will make you melt!  So we THANK the BOYS as well!!
